🤍As a Senior Cosmetologist in the industry almost 14 years, I’ve seen some crazy things with color !!!!

Siissss…

Unfortunately, most box hair dyes contain metallic salts that can cause your hair to be dry and brittle.

Box dyes are also formulated as one size fits all, they do not take in account previous colors, hair processes, hair porosity or hair health.

The base of black is usually green or red, getting through those colors to blonde, without breaking that hair shaft can be difficult!

Lastly, Overlapping chemicals can cause over processing, damage or breakage.

If we do color your hair after this, it will definitely be a process, that will take time and treatments to maintain the integrity of your strands.

Sooooo.. before you decide to grab that box black dye real quick… please think about it long and hard if you’re gonna stay black for a long time 😁
